The Ocean Affairs Council (OAC) and the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding marine related fields on August 31, 2020.

OAC Minister Lee Chung-Wei addressed that OAC has actively engaged in various ocean-related issues since its establishment on April 28, 2018. It’s a milestone for both sides and an vital step to implement the Taiwan Marine Policy specially on the fields of talents cultivation、capacity upgrade and so on.

Furthermore, Minister Lee emphasized that, maritime affairs contain a wide range of aspects and require cross-domain capabilities to properly handle various complex issues. OAC will stay close with NKUST to contribute to ocean sustainability、security、and prosperity.
