The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 21st Ocean and Fisheries Working Group (OFWG) Plenary Meeting took place in Seattle, USA, on July 29 and 30, 2023. Our delegation, comprising representatives from the Ocean Affairs Council, the Ocean Conservation Administration, and the Fisheries Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture, was joined by Professor Ta-Kang Liu from National Cheng Kung University. This marked the inaugural inclusion of academic expertise in our delegation. Through robust public-private collaboration, significant contributions were made to the Asia-Pacific region, fostering connections with diverse economies, enhancing cooperation, and strengthening international partnerships."
