This conference invited experts in international affairs, ecology, law, and marine policy from the United States, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other countries to give speeches and engage in discussions. Scholars and relevant agencies from both domestic and international organizations and institutes have also been invited to participate. The conference explored regional cooperation, marine environmental ecology, international law and maritime law enforcement, and response strategies to raise awareness of sand dredging issues and achieve the goal of enhancing the protection of the marine environment and promoting sustainable resource development.
