In order to continue to promote the "Salute to the Seas" policy, the Minister without Portfolio Wu Tse-Cheng of the Executive Yuan convened three inter-ministerial meetings between June and October 2022, focusing on issues such as "enhancing marine (bottom) debris cleanup", "promoting yacht industry development", "revitalization of idle fishing ports", and "promoting the establishment of recreational beaches", respectively. The relevant stakeholders were invited to hold inter-ministerial coordination meetings to discuss the direction and priorities of subsequent promotion to ensure the achievement of policy goals.
